With over two decades of experience in corporate governance, compliance, and legal leadership, Christopher J. His background as a compliance and legal executive within the financial services industry informs a practice built on precision, strategy, and sound judgment.

Represents corporations and individuals in business, civil litigation, family, estate, and criminal matters, providing end-to-end counsel from negotiation through trial or resolution.

Advises banks, fintechs, and financial-services companies on front-end transactional matters—including complex commercial and technology agreements, lending relationships, and compliance frameworks—and on back-end disputes such as breach of contract, debt-collection actions, and loan account fraud.

Achieved felony and misdemeanor dismissals for East Texas clients and effectively defended and prosecuted civil claims in state courts involving contract disputes, property rights, and debt collection.

Represented corporate and individual clients in real-property contract, boundary, and construction disputes, including claims for defective work, mechanic’s liens, and property rights preservation.

Counseled settlors/grantors, trustees, beneficiaries, and business owners in trust-management and fiduciary-duty disputes; represented clients in employment-related litigation involving non-compete agreements, discrimination claims, and wrongful termination.

Guided individuals and families through estate planning, trust formation, and asset-protection strategies, tailoring plans to preserve wealth across generations.

Helped navigate clients through divorce, custody, and property division, combining compassionate counsel with practical solutions that minimize emotional and financial strain.

 When he’s not managing pretrial matters or in the courtroom, Chris is in the classroom at East Texas A&M University, where he teaches Business Law and serves as Program Director for the University’s Banking Degree Program.
